Twenty years ago, Muuto was founded with the ambition to bring new perspectives to Scandinavian design. During this year’s 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, we invite you to join us in celebrating that milestone with a curated program looking ahead to the next chapters in Scandinavian design. Discover new launches, collectible numbered editions, and immersive spaces exploring how Scandinavian design continues to evolve through dialogue, reflection, atmosphere, and human connection.
Numbered Edition Designs
Created as part of Muuto’s 20 Years of New Perspectives celebration, the Numbered Edition Designs look ahead to the next chapters of Scandinavian design: pieces shaped by experimentation, craft, and emotional presence, with close attention to how objects are experienced in everyday life. The series includes two designs, each offering its own perspective: Inner View Object by Lise Vester, a reflective glass object shaped by light, atmosphere, and perception, and Close to Heart by Spacon, a sculptural chair in extruded aluminum that balances the playful interplay between structure and emotion.
Launching first during 3daysofdesign, the Numbered Edition Designs will be available to purchase at The Library before unfolding through selected drops throughout 2026.

Next Chapters in Scandinavian Design - A book on Muuto’s perspective
As part of Muuto’s 20 Years of New Perspectives celebration we are releasing a book published by Gestalten and edited in collaboration with Muuto. ´Next Chapters on Scandinavian Design – Muuto on Creating Intentional Spaces´ explores Muuto’s perspective on contemporary Scandinavian design. Through essays, photography, and conversations with designers, the book reflects on how color, form, tactility, nature, and light shape the way we live, move, and feel within spaces.
Available internationally from June 10, 2026 during 3daysofdesign at the Muuto HQ or you can preorder your copy now.
The Library
Presented at Other Circle, the Library is a space where rational thinking meets emotional experience. It invites visitors to reflect, exchange, and explore the next chapters in Scandinavian design through books, objects, and moments of exchange.
The Library can be experienced at Other Circle / The Lab, Vermundsgade 40B, 2100 Copenhagen, from 10–13 June 2026. Free and open to all.
Muuto Spaces
Across all three floors of Muuto’s Copenhagen headquarters at Østergade 36–38, visitors are invited to explore previews of coming designs, and the anniversary editions created as part of 20 Years of New Perspectives. The space will also host the presentation of the winners of Muuto Design Contest 002, alongside the launch of the Muuto Design Contest 003 — continuing Muuto’s commitment to supporting the next generation of designers and new perspectives in Scandinavian design. A curated pop-up store will also offer the newly launched Muuto book alongside anniversary merchandise including tote bags, t-shirts and key chains.
