On Their Design Philosophy Studio Kaksikko We consider ourselves “formgivers” before designers, and our process of working with our hands from an early stage has a large influence on the designs that we create. We also produce our own designs by hand in small series, so our familiarity with wood and ceramics lends both an attention to detail and a practicality to our designs that reflects our understanding of these materials. We share a desire to design and make things that people will use until they wear out.
