Due to excess dye in jeans, dark jeans may leave stains on textiles; washing and cleaning may not always lead to satisfying results. Please do not rub the material hard as this could result in loss of color or potentially damage the nap.

Natural leather does not perform well in dry air and sunlight. As a precaution, we recommend placing leather-upholstered furniture away from direct sunlight and keeping it away from highly air-conditioned rooms, as these can make the leather fade or dry out. Regular care of the leather helps maintain its inherent qualities, prolonging the lifespan of its surface. Appreciating the material’s natural attributes when purchasing a product upholstered in genuine leather is important. Leather changes appearance over time, developing a casual elegance with natural creases and a much sought-after patina. Follow the care instructions for the leather you choose to ensure that your leather remains soft, comfortable, and durable.

Depending on the height and size of the upholstered product and the intensity of use, the look and firmness of the seat, back, and armrest will change. This is a normal process as the upholstery adapts to the body and wear. To maintain an even firmness, we recommend using each seat evenly. Otherwise, uneven wear and tear can occur.    

Before using the product for the first time, the back and seat cushion must be plumped up and straightened out. Do this regularly to achieve the best comfort and appearance

The fabric on our sofas is fixed and non-removable. For any upholstered Muuto products, we advise against replacing the upholstery. Should it be necessary, please ensure that any modifications are done by a qualified professional. Typically, our products require dry cleaning only, although care instructions can vary by item.
