OUR GUESS IS, YOU ARE LOCATED IN
On His Design Philosophy Harri Koskinen At times, my work is based on dignity but also very much so concerned with courage. To me, finding the essential aspects of the given design challenge always plays a major role. My work process is dualistic, trying to combine a strict and rational approach with more free and intuitive perspectives. What is most important is to always have a purpose when approaching a new creation.
On Scandinavian design:
"Great designers and artists tend to be individuals. In Scandinavia, we are generally brought up with enough mental space to explore our individuality while at the same time giving back to society. I think this duality has been one of the driving forces behind the best of Scandinavian design and will continue to be so in the future."
