WHATSWHAT is a Stockholm based studio consisting of John
Astbury, Bengt Brummer and Karin Wallenbeck. Established in 2010 they have
already shown their work in New York, London, Tokyo, Paris and Stockholm,
receiving international recognition for their work, winning the Muuto Talent
award in 2010 and an Elle Interior Award in 2012.

WHATSWHAT ON NEW NORDIC
To us it’s the evolution of a common
heritage. It represents a clarity in aesthetics and the knowledge of good
craft. It’s about honesty and efficiency in materials and the simplicity of
purpose. But it is also about questioning these values and creating new
perspectives in a wider context.
